Michael Ellul and Robert Longfeathers took a taxi from Domedovo International Airport to the Hotel Mamaison Pokrovka. Before exiting the plane, they agreed to meet Borinski for dinner at the Alexandrovsky restaurant. The Mamaison was a luxury hotel, and Ellul booked a suite. When Longfeathers heard the price, he whistled and said, "Are you sure you want to stay here? There must be less expensive places."

Ellul chuckled. "Don't worry about it, Bob. I've got more money than I know what to do with. And with my psychic abilities, I can easily make more on the stock market or the racetrack."

After Ellul unpacked, since he was experiencing jet lag, he laid down for a nap. It had been a two hour drive to JFK, a five hour flight to London, a two hour wait there and another three hour flight to Moscow, besides the difference in time zones. They had arrived at the hotel four in the afternoon local time. A couple of hours after Ellul settled down, Longfeathers knocked on his door. "If we're to meet Borinski at seven, perhaps we should get ready."

Ellul glanced at his watch. It was going on six. Reluctantly, he got out of bed. "I'm up," he cried. He undressed, showered and dressed for dinner. When he exited his bedroom, he smiled at Longfeathers' idea of appropriate wear. The Native American was in his Sunday best, which meant designer jeans, a plaid shirt, elaborate boots and a Texan style hat. In Moscow that surely would get people's attention. They meandered down to the lobby and had the concierge call a taxi. Since it was a half hour ride to the restaurant, they walked into it a couple of minutes after seven.

Ellul peered around the crowded lobby for Borinski. Finally he spotted the archeologist talking to one of the most gorgeous women Ellul had ever seen. Her cocktail dress, cut just above the knees with pipe stem straps that left her shoulders bare, showed off her spectacular figure to good advantage. It was cut low enough to reveal deep cleavage. Her chestnut hair fell in long curls to her shoulders, and she had deep blue eyes, with long lashes, and just enough mascara to set them off beautifully. Her face was a perfect oval with a straight nose and plump lips, painted a subtle shade of rose. Around her neck she wore a silver chain with an attached cross that lay on her chest at the point where her cleavage started. To Ellul's eyes, she was a goddess. He felt a pang of envy towards Borinski for being acquainted with such a lovely creature.

He hurried toward the pair, hoping to be introduced to this dream angel. Luck was with him. The woman and Borinski were deep in conversation when he and Longfeathers approached. "Good evening, Boris," he said although he only had eyes for his companion.

Borinski turned toward them. "Good evening, Michael and Robert. You're right on time. I believe the maitre de is about to call us in for dinner.
